Byron!

G'day!

Greetings from Byron Bay aka the single greatest place on earth...well so far on this trip at least. We just got back from a morning of kayaking on the ocean, where we saw a couple of humpback whales and a gigantic sea turtle! We also spotted a shark (we think) off a bit in the distance.

Kathryn and I have officially abandoned real clothes and have taken on linen only attire.

Chips, tomato sauce, and toilets. All the great terms Aus has taught me so far. Just like my mamma says, the sand is so soft it squeaks when you walk! It's pretty amazing.

Love & Kiss everyone! Still loving the comments and updates! Thank you!!

  1. Glad your trip has finally taken a turn for the "fun" part of Australia.
I sure do enjoy reading the blog & check it daily, keeping the 16 hr time difference in mind, of course!
How exciting to see some of the aquatic life!
All is well in this corner of the world, with the leaves falling in large quantities.
    Love to you both!

  2. Now this is what I'm talkin' about. Sand, sun, sea... and for the record, I've never seen whales or turtles in the ocean. I'm all about the climate that requires linen wear! Hugs and kisses back. Have fun. XOXO

  3. Beautiful pics again! And the sand, sea and sun sound amazing!
Linen only is a good choice.... and wear sunscreen!
Keep the posts coming - it is fun to follow you around.
    Take care.
